Compliant with the Conduct of Employment Agencies or Employment Businesses Act 2003, there is the necessity to record and agree terms and conditions which enables JCL Elite to provide any work-seeking services on your behalf :

When JCL Elite attempts to find a temporary assignment with one of our clients where the individual (or the limited company and LLP through whom the individual is engaged) is paid by JCL Elite, then JCL Elite shall be acting as an ‘employment business’.

When JCL Elite attempts to find an individual a role directly with one of our clients (either on a fixed term contract or permanent basis), then JCL Elite will be acting as an ‘employment agency’.

In all cases JCL Elite will attempt to find work of the type the individual regards as the most appropriate for themselves and their career.

 In the event of JCL Elite engaging you on a temporary assignment:

• Subject to the terms of our contract, JCL Elite undertakes to pay you for work properly performed during that assignment irrespective of whether we are ultimately paid by our Client for those services.
• The notice periods in place between yourself and JCL Elite will be agreed at the time of the assignment in consultation with the Client.
• JCL Elite runs a payroll for all properly verified work. Provided correct verification has been obtained by [weekday] that the services have been performed then payment is made on the [weekday] and will clear in your account by [weekday].
• If you work under PAYE,  you will be entitled to four weeks paid holiday per annum. This is paid at 8.33% on your base rate and is accrued by us and paid to you allowing for two weeks’ notice. In some circumstances, with prior agreement by all parties, this may be included in your hourly rate. If this is agreed, no additional payment will be made in lieu of holiday pay.
• If you work through a limited company the company will not be entitled to any payment for holiday pay from JCL Elite. The limited company will only be paid fees in respect of the services rendered by its representatives.
   

As almost all JCL Elite clients operate from a professional office environment there will be no particular health or safety risks involved in any roles to which JCL Elite may introduce you. If JCL Elite becomes aware of any such risks we shall advise you as soon as possible.
 
JCL Elite assumes you are happy to work under the terms and conditions detailed above. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions please advise the company promptly in writing.
 
Privacy Statement
This Privacy Statement sets out the commitment of JCL Elite in protecting your privacy - our goal is to treat your privacy in accordance with the law and with the utmost confidentiality.

What we use your data for:
Personal data you supply to us (including your name and e-mail), whether directly or on entering details requested on our web site, are used facilitate to your registration with JCL Elite and the provision of our employment and communication services.

With whom might it be shared:
From time to time we use general information stored on our website to assist us with market research and in ensuring that we monitor the effectiveness of our service and make any necessary adjustments to best suit all our candidates.  This information will be used on a collective basis with no individual disclosure, thereby ensuring where possible not be identified.

JCL Elite does not disclose your data to any external person or client organisation without your knowledge and consent.  From time to time it may be that clients with offices in countries outside the European Economic Area may be sent your details as part of our services.  In this case it is recognised that the laws governing the storage and use of information may be different.

JCL Elite will also supply information in good faith where it is deemed relevant and material in relation to any legal proceedings, in compliance with any law from time to time in force or by order of court.

Security :
JCL Elite does everything in its power to ensure that the information supplied to JCL Elite through the website is as secure as possible.  It is accepted however that the provision of data over the internet cannot be guaranteed to be totally safe.   The JCL Elite web site contains links to other sites but is not responsible for the security or privacy policies of these sites.

The JCL Elite website uses cookies to track user traffic on the site, particularly in relation to the referral scheme.

JCL Elite maintains and reviews the personal data on our database on a regular basis in accordance with the Law and every effort is made to ensure that the information is kept up to date.  You in turn are expected to inform us of any material changes to your details as and when they arise, particularly changes that might affect any application we might make on your behalf to our clients.  Once these changes are made you may request that they are made available to you view.
